Who wouldn't want to live here eh?

I awoke at around 5am and picked up my iPhone to have a glance at the latest twitter updates from the travel world, (this is a habit I wish I could break, but it seems I miss out on a lot of posts because of this pesky sleep thing).

I usually spend a few minutes tagging my favourite tweets so I can go back later to read them, without the sleep in my eyes. However this particular morning my mind began to wander as I was soon lost in more and more travel-related posts.

Scanning the Crown Range from Cardona Ski ResortNew Zealand offers skiers and snowboarders some great resorts, from well-developed snow areas to the smaller but friendly club fields.

I spent the winter of 2009 in New Zealand living in Wanaka, a great base for Cardona and Treble Cone ski resorts and only an hour or so drive to Coronet Peak and the Remarkables.

As another winter prepares to roll into New Zealand I am running down the top snow fields in New Zealand and why you should visit them.
